What’s covered
What does SBTi’s newly finalized Corporate Net-Zero Standard 2.0 actually change about how your company sources and reports low-carbon electricity? And if your existing PPAs, RECs, and target-setting approach were built for the old rules, how much of that work needs to be redone before your next target cycle?
This working session, developed in partnership with SBTi, gives energy and sustainability leaders hands-on time with the new standard’s deliverability criteria, hourly-matching requirements, and updated rules on eligible market instruments. Rather than a one-way briefing, attendees will work directly with SBTi experts and peers to stress-test their current procurement portfolios against the new requirements, identify where their existing contracts may or may not be grandfathered, and start mapping a practical roadmap for target-setting, reporting, and procurement strategy going forward. Attendees will leave with a clearer, more concrete understanding of what compliance under Version 2.0 requires for their organization specifically — not just what the standard says in the abstract.
