About the session

What’s covered

This data-driven panel will look at the impact of super pollutants on climate change, and opportunities to cut these highly potent greenhouse gas emissions.

Methane, refrigerants, and black carbon are short-lived but extremely potent greenhouse gases that amplify global warming at alarming rates. But a range of well established solutions, including landfill gas capture, refrigerant destruction, manure management, and capping old oil and gas wells, effectively prevent these “super pollutant” emissions, offering immediate and lasting climate benefits.

This session will look at how companies are cutting super pollutants in their operations, and how carbon buyers are abating global impacts of super pollutants via high-integrity credits.
