About the session

What’s covered

How can companies act together in the Colorado River Basin while demand grows and the rules for sharing its water keep evolving? What should collective action look like when it has to serve cities, farms, Tribes, and ecosystems as well as business?

Prolonged drought and ongoing negotiations over how to share the river are putting water risk on the planning agenda for companies with operations, suppliers, or communities in the basin. Companies are joining the Water Resilience Coalition to pool funding and expertise for shared projects, from municipal leak detection to agricultural irrigation efficiency. Hear from coalition leaders, corporate participants, and basin water managers on how collective work is organized, and leave with a framework for deciding how your own water strategy can contribute.
