Theresa Lieb leads Trellis Group’s nature and Europe-focused initiatives, shaping the company’s strategic direction, content, and partnerships. She’s the Executive Director of Bloom and serves as a sought-after writer, speaker, and moderator while facilitating the European community of Trellis Network.
Her expertise spans nature and biodiversity, sustainable food systems, European policy and regulation, and sustainable finance. Currently living in The Hague, the Netherlands, Theresa enjoys exploring the region’s scenic beach dunes with her husband and dog.
Prior to joining Trellis, Theresa gained experience in sustainability, development policy and finance through her work with the United Nations, German Development Bank, WeWork, and the ClimateWorks Foundation. She holds an MPhil in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford. Raised in a family of dairy farmers and chefs in Germany, Theresa has cultivated a global perspective through professional experiences across Europe, Latin America, and the U.S. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.
