Archer Daniels Midland and P&G Chemicals, a business unit of Procter & Gamble, have announced the formation of a Technology Council to explore opportunities that will lead to the development of innovative, natural-based products. This is the first joint project between ADM and P&G Chemicals.
“We are very pleased to be teaming up with ADM, a world leader in the processing of agricultural products,” said Ian S. Edwards, managing director of P&G Chemicals. “ADM has demonstrated the ability to develop innovative, natural-based products from its raw materials, and we look forward to working with them to create and market new products that contribute to their growth and ours.”
ADM President John McNamara said, “P&G Chemicals is an ideal partner for ADM, providing global marketing expertise that can add significant value to ADM’s agricultural production. Together, we hope to develop a broad range of products that capitalize on ADM’s processing capabilities and P&G’s marketing strengths.”
