For the island state of Hawaii, climate change takes on a special meaning.
Ramsay Remigius Mahealani Taum is the founder and president of the Hawaii-based Life Enhancement Institute of the Pacific, as well as the director of external affairs and community partnerships at the School of Travel Industry Management (TIM) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he also speaks on host cultural values in the workplace. He spoke at the VERGE Hawaii 2018 event about Hawaii’s cultural history, and how this past feeds into its future.
