Tuesday, April 16: The House Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing to examine the 2025 Fiscal Budget Request for Department of Defense’s Energy, Installations, and Environment Programs. While details regarding the hearing haven’t been released, the Department of Defense accounts for 76 percent of the government’s energy expenditures, making its fuel sourcing critical to reducing the federal government’s carbon footprint.
Thursday, April 18: The House Committee on Natural Resources will conduct a hearing on “Assessing Solutions to Secure America’s Offshore Energy Future.” No other information has been released.
